Senior Pastor called at Chinese Evangelical Free Church in Monterey Park, California

The congregation of the Chinese Evangelical Free Church in Monterey Park, California has, in a special membership meeting on Sunday, February 8th, overwhelmingly confirmed a call to the Rev. John Hsu as their next Senior Pastor. The total votes received and verified far exceeded the two-third votes (446:2) required. Rev. Hsu was President of the Evangel Seminary in Hong Kong.

 

 

 

 

The 2008 ANACEFC Conference convened at the historic Nanaimo Street building of the Vancouver Chinese Evangelical Free Church in Vancouver, British Columbia. Most delegates were able to visit the new award-winning facility at 3295 East Broadway. The theme of the Conference is “Church as a Family, Families in a Church”. The speaker is Dr. Wing Tai Leung, General Secretary of Breakthrough, Hong Kong. A total of 70 delegates enjoyed a great time of fellowship, sharing of experiences, strategy planning, and collaboration among the 38 Chinese Free Churches in North America, and denominational leaders from both the EFCA and EFCC.
